Another Year Older

Well, I am officially not in my twenties any longer! Do I feel any older? No. Many peaple have asked me that. I did have a fun weekend full of birthday celebration. Friday night my good friend Glo and I went out to eat and to the movies. It was so much fun! Just the two of us talking and not worrying about the kiddos. And I haven't been to the movies in forever! We saw Untraceable. It was very disturbing! It doesn't matter that the movie was not the best...we just had fun anyway! On Saturday my Mom cooked my traditional b-day dinner complete with my most favorite dessert in the world-Red Velvet Cake! My mom made me a lamp out of a wine bottle. A picture of it is below. It turned out really pretty! We had seen one like it at a craft fair and I loved it. My mom is just so crafty that she just whipped one up! My good friend Kyndra got me a beautiful scarf and made me a yummy Peanut Butter Pie! I have not gotten my present from Adam yet. He hopes to get our wood floors in the living room and hall refinished so we won't have to look at our OLD carpet! I'll take pictures of it when it's done so you all can see. All in all, even though I'm another year older, I'm not sad. I'm happy! I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful girls. What more could I ask for?
