Coach Matthews, Miss Sarah (Shel's teacher) and Shelby receiving her certificates
All done!
Shelby's last day of swimming lessons was today. She is officially a guppy and part dolphin! Next time she takes lessons, she'll complete the requirements for dolphin. She had so much fun taking lessons and is NOT afraid to do ANYTHING! Bethany and I enjoyed watching Sissy as she learned lots of new things.

Just Daydreaming
Awesome Graphics and Myspace Layouts at pYzam.com
I want a vacation. A sunny beach with soft, white sand and crystal blue, splashing waves would be nice. I want to watch my kids play in the sand and use their imagination to their heart's content. I want to spend time with my husband...just talk and laugh and reflect. I want to spend relaxing, quality time with my family...just forget the daily chores and let loose and relax. I want to read a good book, watch an old movie, sleep in. Maybe some day. Hopefully...

Little Fishy
Shelby's been enjoying beginner's swimming lessons at the Water Park this last week. This is her second year of lessons. She's doing so well. She goes under the water and swims and is learning the crawl stoke and back stroke. She absolutely LOVES to swim. Today is her last lesson for this week and then she will go Monday-Thursday next week.

Sunset Cruise
Last weekend while MiMi and PaPa were here for Bethany's b-day party, Adam made some reservations for us to go to the lake for a sunset cruise. I didn't know what to expect...it was WAY more than I expected! We saw the MOST beautiful sunset ever! We truly witnessed just a spark of God's brilliant magnificence!

Bethany's Birthday Party
Bethany's birthday party was this past Saturday at 3:00pm. It was a bright sunshiny day...a great day for a PARTY! Friends and family came to celebrate this special occasion, although we were missing a few special people. I had fun decorating and making snacks and cupcakes. Bethany enjoyed her baby cake and was a joy to watch! Here are some pictures from Bethany's special day...
Peek-a-boo! I see you!
Bethany's pink table decorated with a newborn picture with details of her birth, baby figurines, yellow stamped HAPPY BIRTHDAY napkins, veggie tray w/ dip, cupcake stand w/ Funfetti cupcakes iced w/ white icing with pink flowers, fruit tray and Strawberry/Lemon dip, and pink punch. Behind the table on the wall were month by month pics of Beth from one month to twelve months.

Bethany Is ONE year old today!!!
More Comments and Myspace Layouts at pYzam.com
I CAN'T believe this last year has flown by already! Bethany will be one at 9:17am! Sweet Bethany completes our little family and I'm sooo glad God has blessed us with her!
On a side note, Shelby did something so sweet today! She got out a white gift bag and placed one of her favorite toys in it for Bethany's birthday (a FuReal Panda). She said it's time to pass the panda on to Bethany because the panda is a baby and so is Bethany!
Also, Glo called in Bethany's birthday to the radio station and Bethany won a birthday cake! Her day is starting out good already!
Bethany, Mommy and Daddy and Shelby love you VERY much!

New Addition
This is Britt, our new dog. Well, let me rephrase that, Adam's new dog. Britt is Adam's Father's Day present. We adopted her from Paws and Claws. She's a sweet dog and loves her new big backyard. Lily and Britt are getting along well. I think Lily will enjoy having a new friend to play with.
Update on Yard Sale
The yard sale went great! We made a good amount of money. It was more than enough for me to buy the storm door I wanted for my front door! It was hectic at first. We started setting everything up outside at 6:30am and shortly after that (BEFORE we had hardly ANYTHING set up) people started arriving wanting to buy things! It was HOT and I still have quite a few baby clothes left because I had SO many to begin with, but I'm glad I did it. I think I will try to consign the good clothes I have left and just donate the others.

Yard Sale
I'm going through all of our stuff for my first ever yard sale I'm having with a good friend of mine. I've gotten pretty much everything together, I just need to start pricing. Ugh! The majority of stuff I'm selling is Shelby and Bethany's baby clothes and baby STUFF. It makes me sad to be going through all of their precious, tiny clothes knowing they will never be that small again. I am keeping a few special things...their first dresses, little booties, a pink onesie that says DADDY DOES MY HAIR, etc. I've gotten a little teary eyed through the whole ordeal. But, I can't store their clothes forever. Our storage room is filled to the brim with tubs full of clothes so I guess I must part with them. Right now I'm just selling the 0-12 month clothes. Maybe Bethany will be able to wear some of Shelby's hand-me-downs. Anyway, I may be able to make a pretty good chunk of change. Between the two girls, I've got SEVERAL tubs of clothes. A couple of people are already browsing and have bought already. I've heard baby clothes sell really well at yard sales. With the money I make I'm hoping to buy a new storm door for our front door. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the sale goes well!
